  • Catherine

    CO-FOUNDER

Catherine started her movement training as a young dancer. She received her degree at The University of Arizona and began her career in the pilates industry. As a fully certified Pilates Teacher, she went on to own one of the top pilates/wellness studios in the Bay Area that serviced both novice bodies and professional athletes. For the last 25 years, she has taught and mentored teachers, presented at national conferences and is a sought after expert in her field. She has clients that range in ages from 15-85 and specializes in working with clients that have “tough” to solve goals/needs.

Catherine is committed to using the latest research and proven concepts in movement training and has continued her education through NASM and Z-Health Performance in order to create fully customized programs for each client. Fitness should be integrative and always evolving-considering the uniqueness of each person- body, mind, breath, strength, flexibility. It should be both functional and neurocentric.

In her free time, Catherine loves hanging out with her 4 kids, her “larger than life” Labradoodle, and finding new ways to move and play.

  • Young-E Yang

    INSTRUCTOR

Originally from Korea, Young-E came to the United States as an international student to pursue sports management studies in graduate school.

With over 15 years of experience, she has been working as an agent managing professional golf players. While observing the top players in the world, she personally admired their diligence, strong determination, and mental resilience, which has taught her valuable lessons for living her own life.

She has always been interested in health and fitness, but there has been challenging moments, particularly due to back pain. During pregnancy and childbirth, she was dedicated to Pilates. She believed that Pilates played a significant role in smoothly going through that process. She was captivated by Pilates that she resumed it just 2 weeks after giving birth.

She loves Pilates because it encourages a strong connection between her mind and body. This connection enhances my body awareness, posture, balance, and more while also building strength, mobility, and overall well-being. The mindful approach to movement in Pilates brings a unique sense of fulfillment and joy to my fitness routine. Young-E wants to share her passion for a healthy life and mindful movement with my clients, hoping to have a positive impact on their fitness and daily lives.

Bonnie wants to share her passion of Pilates with others and encourage all people—whether young, young at heart, male or female—in healthy and lifelong movement.

Bonnie and her husband, James, have been married since 1999. They have three kids and have lived in Southlake since 2006. Bonnie has found joy in volunteering in area schools, community organizations, and churches. If she is not at the studio, you can find her at the lake with her family or needlepointing.
